Another low-intensity ‘blast’ near Amritsar’s Golden Temple, two suspects held | Amritsar News – Times of India

AMRITSAR: Another low-intensity blast was reported near the Golden Temple on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
The blast was reported from near the Langar Hall and Guru Ram Das Sarai of the Golden Temple following which police teams arrived on the spot and arrested two suspects, including a woman. It is learned that police have also recovered a suspicious bag from the spot.

Meanwhile, Gaurav Yadav, DGP Punjab Police, tweeted, “Amritsar low intensity explosion cases solved. 5 persons arrested (sic).”
Amritsar police commissioner Naunihal Singh informed that police received the information of a loud noise behind one of the buildings following they had begun investigations.
