1 You Stroll When You Walk
The way we feel affects the way we walk. But this also applies the other way around, according to a study published in The Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry. Researchers found that when people stroll, move little and walk bent over, they are in a worse mood than people who walk energetically.

So push your chest forward and straighten your shoulders if you notice that you are not feeling very well.

2 You take pictures of things
Instagram and Facebook queens everywhere pay attention. Constantly taking pictures of things makes you remember those moments less well and enjoy them less, according to a study published in Psychological Science.

So put your phone or camera away every now and then and enjoy the things that are happening around you, without recording it directly on the sensitive plate.

3 You let other people get on your head
Unfortunately, bullying doesn’t stop when you finish school. According to The Workplace Bullying Institute, 35% of the U.S. workforce has been bullied at some point in their careers. Being bullied at work can be very stressful and it can even make people so emotional that they don’t want to go to work anymore.

If you are being bullied at work, you can talk about this with your doctor, he can guide you in how you can best deal with it. It is important to face the problem for yourself, perhaps take some time for yourself and recover at home, and then start a conversation with your supervisor.

4 You don’t exercise.
Think about this: If you exercise 3 times a week, you are 19% less likely to become depressed, according to a study in JAMA Psychiatry.

So get out there and get moving! Go for a nice walk or run or visit your local gym and take care of your body.

5 You are procrastinating
Think of a task that you are constantly procrastinating. Are you procrastinating because this task makes you nervous or because you are afraid of failing? Because then procrastination creates even more stress.

Before you begin this task, do something that will help you relax. Listen to music or go for a run and then get on with your task.

6 You are in a bad relationship
If your partner makes you believe that you are incompetent, stupid or selfish, then your relationship is not good for you. Sometimes it takes years for people to realize that they are in a bad relationship and that their feelings of depression are caused by their relationship.

Try to get help. Talk to your doctor, a psychologist or a close friend to help you figure out what you really want.

7 You don’t sleep
Sleep affects almost all aspects of your life. It affects our bodies, our emotions and our mental health. Try to find out why you are not sleeping and get enough rest.

8 You are never alone
If you never have a moment for yourself, you cannot recharge. Try to take at least 10 minutes for yourself every day. Take a short walk, read a book or meditate. Without daily time for yourself, a depression or anxiety disorder creeps into someone’s life more quickly.

9 You can’t live without your cell phone
When was the last time you didn’t carry any electronic devices with you? Can’t you remember this? Bad sign… We tend to be overstimulated by all the devices we surround ourselves with on a daily basis.

Occasionally create an electronic break, where you do not use your mobile or computer for a number of hours or, for example, a day.
