Tamil Nadu Minister Anitha Radhakrishnan used offensive term against PM Modi.

The saffron party termed the usage of such language by the DMK minister a ‘Nauseating act’ adding that ‘the vile and vulgar political character is in DMK’s DNA’

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came down heavily on DMK and Tamil Nadu minister Anitha Radhakrishnan for making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Modi during a speech ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The minister used an abusive term for the prime minister.

The saffron party termed the usage of such language by the DMK minister a ‘Nauseating act’ adding that “the vile and vulgar political character is in DMK’s DNA.”

While addressing a public election campaign event, Radhakrishnan, who holds the Fisheries and Animal Husbandry portfolio in the Stalin government, said the Prime Minister inaugurated projects to honour stalwarts like Sardar Vallabhai Patel and Kamarajar only to garner meagre votes, India Today reported.

“You erected Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s statue to seek Patel community votes. Prime Minister Modi uses such disgusting tactics,” the publication quoted Radhakrishnan as saying.

The Tamil Nadu minister also remarked on PM Modi’s address in Tamil Nadu’s Salem last week, saying that the latter spoke about independence activist Kamarajar “as though they embraced him and brought him to the front”.

The BJP strongly criticised the DMK minister for his remarks and said that he used disgusting language for a leader who came from a humble background and dedicated his life to the service of India.

“This is not surprising! This is the vile, vulgar political culture that is in the very DNA of the DMK! What’s worse? Without condemning this obscene talk, Tmt

Kanimozhi enjoys the speech on stage, exposing her pseudo-feminism!” BJP wrote on social media in response.

“People will teach the DMK and I.N.D.I. Alliance a fitting lesson! The law will also do its duty! This time the “Rising Sun” will go down the horizon!” it added.

On the coming Lok Sabha Elections front, the BJP on Friday named its Lok Sabha poll candidates for 14 seats in Tamil Nadu and the lone seat of Puducherry. It has fielded A Namassivayam, a minister in the Puducherry government, from the union territory.

Meanwhile, the top Congress leadership met on Friday to discuss and finalise its candidates for nine Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu. The committee discussed several candidates for the nine Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu that have come in the Congress’ share in its alliance with the DMK.
