Rongali Bihu, also known as Bohag Bihu, is the most important cultural festival of Assam, marking the beginning of the Assamese New Year and the arrival of spring. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy across the state. The festival signifies the onset of the agricultural season and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour.
