Naidu’s accusation comes a day after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked during an election campaign in Vijayawada

A day after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked during a poll rally, TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu alleged on Sunday that stones were thrown at him in Gajuwaka.

“Stones were thrown here. People won’t let them get away and will drive them out. The ganja and blade gangs have also arrived here. I don’t know what the police are doing. I will also address the drama that happened yesterday. We will address the drama that occurred in Vijayawada,” Naidu stated.

Expressing anger at the incident, Naidu questioned the state police for their inaction and warned those responsible will be ‘exposed’.

“I’m warning them to be careful. If they continue with such cheap tricks, people will revolt and punish them by exposing them. Jagan Reddy, control your J-gang. When Pawan Kalyan organised a meeting in Tenali today, they threw stones at his Varahi vehicle,” the former Andhra CM noted.

On Saturday evening, Jagan Mohan Reddy sustained injuries when a group of miscreants started pelting stones at the CM’s bus during an election campaign in Vijayawada. Both Reddy and another person were injured in the attack.

Reddy suffered an injury on his left eyebrow and received immediate first aid inside the bus from a doctor. YSRCP leaders alleged that the TDP was behind the attack.
