‘Emotional Day For Every Party Worker’: AAP Leaders React As SC Grants Bail To Sanjay Singh After 6 Months of Arrest – News18

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) last October in an alleged money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor policy scam, was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Soon after Singh was granted bail amid the AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took to X and wrote in Punjabi, “Truth always wins. Sanjay Singh got bail. Truth may be suppressed but truth never dies. Long live the revolution.”

Expressing his happiness over the top court granting bail to Sanjay Singh, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chaddha shared a picture with him and wrote, “Today is a very emotional day for every Aam Aadmi Party worker. There is happiness today with the release of our lion Sanjay Singh which cannot be expressed in words.”

National spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar added, saying, “Today God is with us, Bajrang Bali is with us, truth has won. We were saying from the beginning that this entire case is fake and has been written in the BJP office. Even after about 500 raids, not even a single penny was recovered. Today the Supreme Court also said, what is the point of keeping him in custody when no money trail is found…”

General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) D Raja said, “It is a blow to the politics of vendetta persuaded by Union Government. This will give the hope that others will also get bail & will be released. Truth will triumph & justice will prevail.”

AAP MP Swati Maliwal took to X and wrote, “Sher zyada din kaid nahi kiye jaa sakte, Sanjay Singh Zindabad (Lions cannot be kept in captivity for long! Long live Sanjay Singh)

‘My Son is Innocent’: Sanjay Singh’s Mother

On Supreme Court granted bail to AAP MP Sanjay Singh, his mother Radhika Singh said, “We are happy, we were waiting for this. We thank the Supreme Court. My son is innocent. He should not have been arrested but I am happy that he has got bail.”
