WB Police Constable and Lady Constable Recruitment 2024: The application form correction link is now live on the official website at wbpolice.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3734 vacancies.

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) initiated the application correction window on April 1 for the recruitment of Constables and Lady Constables in the Kolkata Police 2024. Eligible candidates who have completed their application submission can now rectify any errors in their application details until April 7, 2024.

The application form correction link is now live on the official website at wbpolice.gov.in. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3734 vacancies, with 3464 posts allocated for Constables and 270 for Lady Constables in the Kolkata Police.

WB Police Constable and Lady Constable Application Form 2024: How to Edit?

Step 1: Visit the official website at wbpolice.gov.in.

Step 2: Navigate to the “What’s Current” section on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the link titled “Recruitment to the post of Constables/Lady Constables in Kolkata Police 2024.”

Step 4: A new window will open, click on the link: “Edit/rectify personal information already submitted.”

Step 5: Now, click on “Click here to edit the submitted application form for the post of Constable/Lady Constables in KP 2024 from April 1 to April 7.”

Step 6: Enter your details carefully and access the application form.

Step 7: Make the necessary changes and submit the form.

Step 8: Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

To be eligible for the posts of Constables and Lady Constables in the Kolkata Police 2024, applicants must hold Indian citizenship to be eligible for the mentioned posts. Candidates are required to have cleared the Madhyamik Examination conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants must be between 18 (eighteen) and 30 (thirty) years old as of 01/01/2024. The upper age limit can be extended for certain groups: Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates by 5 years, Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B candidates by 3 years, Third Gender/Transgender persons by 3 years, and Civic Volunteers by 5 years.

Applicants must also possess the ability to read, write, and speak Bengali, except for permanent residents of hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For applicants from these regions, the regulations outlined in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Ben. Act XXIV of 1961) shall be followed.
