Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol break up amid ongoing dating controversy

Ryu Jun Yeol’s representatives confirmed the new development, claiming, “It’s true they broke up. We ask for your understanding as we have nothing else to say except to confirm the breakup.”

A day ago, the My Name actress posted a fuming lengthy message, which once again brought the infamous love triangle between her, Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri back to the forefront. Calling out her ex-boyfriend for his silence amid all the contentious name-calling she had to deal with, she wrote: “I am also frustrated about the fact that one person involved in this matter is maintaining silence.” She’s reportedly requested to divulge the timeline of their relationship. However, the Alienoid actor’s representatives refuted the plea.

So Hee has been receiving hefty online harassment as initial speculations questioned if Ryu Jun Yeol was still in a relationship with his former flame Hyeri when he first met the Nevertheless actress. Although having taken a break from social media, So Hee’s Instagram return on March 29 invited disparaging confrontations from netizens due to her mention of Hyeri in the same post.

She wrote, “I would be honoured if sunbaenim could contact me herself, as I have tried to get in contact with her in any way that I can think of, only to fail.”

Fans didn’t agree with her ‘rash’ ways of dealing with the situation and for unnecessarily dragging Hyeri back into the conversation.

Dispatch’s previous March reports showed that the pair were pictured vacationing in Hawaii. Even the paparazzi snaps reflected their tension during their time off as fans continued to conjecture about Ryu Jun Yeol’s overlapping relationships.

The South Korean media outlet confirmed that the former Girls’ Day member and her Reply 1988 co-star’s former relationship started souring around June 2023. Eventually, they grew apart and officially split up in November 2023 following a seven-year connection.
