Mayank Yadav was the toast of the evening as he flattened Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their chase of a target of 182. Mayank recorded figures of 3/14 as RCB were all out for 153 in reply to LSG’s 181/5(PTI)

LSG earlier dominated the RCB bowlers for much of their innings but the latter made a comeback in the final overs. Quinton de Kock smashed 81 off 56 balls but he fell to Reece Topley in the 17th over.(PTI)

LSG’s run rate dropped sharply in the period between the 15th and 18th overs. Nicholas Pooran then got a few big hits in the last two overs, finishing unbeaten on 40 off 21 and LSG’s innings ended on 181/5 in 20 overs. (PTI)

LSG put pressure on RCB straightaway by starting with spinners M Siddharth and Krunal Pandya. Siddharth dismissed Virat Kohli in the fifth over while his opening partner and captain Faf du Plessis was run out shortly thereafter(LSG Twitter)

Mahipal Lomror staged a late fightback for RCB, scoring 33 in just 13 balls. He fell to Yash Thakur in the 18th over and that was pretty much the final nail in the coffin for the RCB chase.(AFP)
