The National Medical Commission (NMC) on Wednesday revised the date of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (Postgraduate) of NEET PG 2024. As per the new schedule, the examination will now be conducted on June 23, 2024.
Previously, the exams were slated for July 04, 2024. In response to these alterations, a user on X (formerly Twitter) expressed discontent with the decision to reschedule the exam earlier rather than delaying it. He writes, “Preponing the exam is worse than postponing it ! Policy makers might not care about it, but it impacts the futures of thousands of doctors.”

Another X user accused the NMC and NBE of playing with the mental well-being of aspiring candidates. He stated, “If manipulating mental health were an art form, then NMC and NBE would be the Picasso of it.”
