NEET PG 2024: As per the official schedule, the exam will be held on June 23 and the results will be declared on July 15

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will begin the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate or NEET PG 2024 today, at 3 pm. Eligible and interested candidates can register online at natboard.edu.in, and nbe.edu.in. The application process will continue until May 6, up to 11:55 pm.

The NBE has also released the information brochure. As per the official schedule, the NEET PG 2024 will be held on June 23 and the results will be declared on July 15. The admit cards will be issued on June 18. Candidates willing to apply must note that the cut-off date for completion of the internship towards eligibility for NEET-PG 2024 is August 15, 2024. A separate handbook comprising details of the counseling process and applicable reservations will be released by the designated counseling authority later.

“National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET PG 2024 on 23rd June 2024 on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country. Please refer to the Information Bulletin at NBEMS website (16th April 2024 onwards) for eligibility criteria, fee structure, scheme of examination and other details,” reads the official notice by NBE.

NEET PG 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website of NBE

Step 2: Click on the NEET PG link on the home page.

Step 3: A new page will open. Click on the application link and register yourself.

Step 4: Fill in the application form and make the payment of the application fees.

Step 5: Click submit and wait until your application is accepted. Pay the fees.

Step 6: Download the application form and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.

The NEET PG entrance exam is administered for entry into the nation’s medical MD, MS, or postgraduate diploma programmes. The exam paper will have 800 marks, going by the previous year’s trends. The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions in total. For every right answer, the candidate gets four marks, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
