The Indian Coast Guard has released the exam city intimation slip for ICG CGEPT 02/2024 for Navik (General Duty). Candidates who have registered for the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) can check and download the city slip from the official website at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
The application process for ICG CGEPT 2024 was open from February 13 to 27, 2024.Candidates can access the intimation slip by simply logging in with their ‘Email ID’ and ‘Password’ on the official portal. The e-admit card with the exact examination centre address will be available in the candidate login and email
will be sent on a registered e-mail ID only 2-3 days before the examination.
How to download ICG CGEPT Exam City Slip 2024?
Step 1. Visit the official website of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in
Step 2. On the homepage, scroll down to the ‘News/Announcement’ section
Step 3. Click on the link that reads, “Exam Date and name of Exam City for Indian Coast Guard CGEPT-02/2024 is available in your login. E-Admit Card will be available for downloading through your login only 48 to 72 hrs prior to the date of exam”
Step 4. You will be redirected to a new portal, enter your e-mail ID and password
Step 5. Your exam city slip will be displayed on the screen
Step 6. Download and take a printout of the city intimation slip for future reference

Selection Process

  • Stage-I: The first stage comprises a written examination, mandatory for all applicants.
  • Stage-II: Following the results of Stage-I, individuals will proceed to Stage-II, which encompasses a Physical Fitness Test, Document verification, Re-assessment of Inconsistent Performers, and Initial Medical Examination.
  • Stage-III: Performance in both Stage-I and Stage-II will determine placement on an all India merit list. Successful candidates will receive e-admit cards for Stage-III, involving final medical examinations at INS Chilka, in accordance with available vacancies and ratios set by ICG.
  • Stage-IV: Reserved for candidates who successfully clear Stage III and are merit-listed as per available vacancies, this stage involves provisional shortlisting for training at INS Chilka.

Syllabus
The Indian Coast Guard Navik syllabus is designed to align with the educational standards of both Class 10 and 12. It comprises a range of subjects for the written exam, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Basic Chemistry, Reasoning, Current Affairs, and Quantitative Aptitude.
