ICAI to Release CA May 2024 Exam Revised Schedule Today at icai.org, Check Details – News18

The revised timetable for the CA May 2024 exams will be made public by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today, March 19. In light of the April–June 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the ICAI opted to amend the May Examination schedule. The exam schedule will be made available on the official website, icai.org.

A notice posted on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s official website states that the comprehensively updated timetable for the May 2024 examinations will be released on the website on March 19 in the evening. Students preparing for the Chartered Accountants Examinations in May 2024 should take note of this.

The Institute previously indicated that the CA Examination dates clash with the Lok Sabha Election dates, hence, the tests will be rescheduled.

The seven-phase Lok Sabha election is scheduled to take place from April 19 to June 1. The counting of all the phases will take place on June 4. In light of this, ICAI will publish the comprehensively updated exam schedule for May 2024 this evening.

According to the previous timetable, The exam dates for the CA foundation course were previously set as June 20, 22, 24, and 26. Inter Group 1 was slated for May 3, 5, and 7, while Group 2 was scheduled for May 9, 11, and 13. The dates of the CA Final were May 2, 4, and 6 for Group 1, and May 8, 10, and 12 for Group 2.

Registration for the ICAI CA May 2024 test has already been closed. The official website, eservices.icai.org, will be used to provide the admit card to registered applicants. Aside from that, the ICAI has announced that it will hold the Foundation and Intermediate exams for Chartered Accountants (CA) three times every year. Up until now, the CA Inter and Foundation exams were offered twice a year by the ICAI. The first step or entry-level test in India to become a chartered accountant (CA) is the ICAI foundation exam. Those who clear the Class 12 test are eligible to take the CA foundation exam. Additionally, the CA Intermediate exam comes following the Foundation exam.

Earlier this year, the ICAI appointed Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal as its new 72nd President. Furthermore, Charanjot Singh Nanda has been chosen to serve as Vice President for 2024–2025.
