Steel Authority Of India Releases Recruitment Notification For 55 Managerial Posts – News18

SAIL or the Steel Authority of India Limited has released a recruitment notification for the posts of manager and deputy manager. These posts are reserved for the locations of Bokaro Steel Plant, CET (Centre for Engineering and Technology) Ranchi and Jharkhand Group of Mines.

According to the notification released on the official SAIL website, recruitment is being done for 55 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply at the official link sail.co.in, before April 16. Manager (Grade E-3)

Deputy Manager (Projects) (Grade E-2)

Number of vacancies: 55

Vacancies available according to location:

For Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro- 18 managers and 10 deputy managers.

For Jharkhand Group of Mines- 17 for manager.

CET, Ranchi- 10 for manager.

Fee of application:

For general and OBC categories- Rs 700 with Rs 200 as processing fee.

For SC/ST/PwBD- The candidates only have to pay a Rs 200 processing fee.

Education Qualification:

The interested candidate should have a full-time Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in fields like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Mineral Beneficiation, Mining Engineering and more.

Age limit:

For the post of manager, the candidates should be above the age of 35 years, while for the post of deputy manager, they should not be more than 32 years of age. For the OBC categories upper age relaxation of up to 3 years is provided and for the SC/ST categories the upper age relaxation has been extended to 5 years.

Selection process:

The candidates will have to appear for a computer-based test which will be followed by an interview.
