The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 2024 application process is set to begin today, March 26. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website — cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Registrations will also begin for AP PGLCET 2024 today. The AP LAWCET will be held on June 9 for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. It will be conducted from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, and both exams will be held together during a single shift. The instruction booklets will be released along with the application forms.

AP LAWCET, PGLCET 2024: Educational Qualification

Candidates with a graduate degree with 45 per cent aggregate marks or equivalent examination from a recognised university are eligible for 3-year LLB courses. If any candidate secured less than 45 per cent in graduation, s/he must have passed any additional graduate or postgraduate degree with 45 per cent aggregate marks. Those with 45 per cent aggregate marks in Class 12 are eligible for a 5-year LLB.

Last year, APSCHE offered a relaxation of 5 per cent of marks in both the exams in favour of the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories and a relaxation of 3 per cent of marks for candidates belonging to backward classes.

Candidates holding a 3 or 5-year LLB degree and are about to appear for the exams are eligible for a year LLM degree. A candidate appearing for 3 or 5-year LLB degree examinations may take the AP PGLCET. However, the candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with required eligibility at the time of counselling.

AP LAWCET, PGLCET 2024: How to download?

Step 1 – Go to the official website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Step 2 – On the homepage, click the AP LAWCET or AP PGLCET 2024 registration link, whichever exam you want to apply for.

Step 3 – Register and complete the application form.

Step 4 – Fill out the needed information and submit the appropriate documents.

Step 5 – To submit your application, pay the fees, then download and print the confirmation sheet for future reference.

AP LAWCET, PGLCET 2024: Application fees

For OC category students will have to pay Rs 900 to apply for AP LAWCET 2024, BC students will pay Rs 850, and SC, ST students will have to pay Rs 800. The AP PGLCET 2024 application fees are Rs 1,000, Rs 950, and Rs 900 for OC, BC, SC, and ST respectively.
